Our Rye is based on a traditional recipe that comes from a city in the Alps in Northern Italy called Bolzano. Bolzano, formally a city in Austria is influenced by both German and Italian cultures. We bring this fusion of cultures into our bread by blending flavors of both carraway and fennel seeds. Sourcing our flour from Stone and Sparrow, a farm and mill here in Kansas City, we bring this artisanal tradition home to your table.
